Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project

Since it launched in 2004, the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project has rescued more than 2,100 sick and injured turtles, brought the gentle creatures back to health and released them back into the Arabian Gulf. Visit the sanctuary at Turtle Lagoon, accessible via Jumeirah Al Naseem, to meet its current residents. The enclosure is open to the public every day, without any entry fees or bookings. Check ahead on the feeding schedule, held once a week on Turtle Island, where anybody is welcome to join.

Explore contemporary art at Jameel Arts Centre

Nestled along the banks of Dubai Creek, Jameel Arts Centre is one of the city's creative hotspots. It houses multiple gallery spaces that showcase contemporary works from around the world in solo and group exhibitions as well as special collaborations. Explore the latest works by artists from across the Middle East and Indian subcontinent, including commissioned works from the Art Jameel collection.

Get some sun at Dubai's beaches

Blessed with year-round sunshine, Dubai is home to some amazing beaches with turquoise waters and golden sand.
